Written Theory Lecture - Sept. 12

Students,

I apologize that I had to miss class today and that it has taken me this long to get materials to you!  It’s been one heck of a day, I can assure you.  My daughter is doing ok but pretty lethargic from the high fever.  I hope that I’ll be back on campus tomorrow, but I won’t know for sure until I wake her up in the morning.

I uploaded notes on the Box at our wiki - http://mus111-112um.pbwiki.com/Resources.  The file name is WT091207.doc and is in MS word format.  These notes should help you process additional important concepts from Chapter 2.  Information on upcoming assignment due dates (Friday and Monday) is also in that document.

For some of you, the materials presented in Chapters 1 & 2 are review.  Go ahead and review these chapters because we will have a chapter test very soon.  Or begin looking ahead to Chapter 3.  Or do some internet research on the development of modes!
